The product is manufactured under brand name "Celtab". Celtab granules absorb water at a very fast rate resulting in enormous increase in the volume or particles, which develops internal pressure in the tablet causing rapid disintegration and fast dissolution of active ingredients of tablet. Celtab after absorption of water, forms gel which is insoluble in water. It causes very uniform disintegration and the effectiveness does not change even after prolonged storage. Celtab particles after absorption of water are non-sticky and do not cause and resistance to the permeability of water into the bulk of tablet.
